Professional Learning Network
The Educator Preparation Programs Department has launched the
Mental & Behavioral Health and Apprenticeships (MBHA) program (formerly School-Based Mental Health and Wellness Pathways) branch in order to serve Santa Clara County districts with the increasing demands of establishing school-based mental health and wellness programs to meet the needs of students and families.
In order to better support and serve school districts, we established the Mental Health & Wellness Professional Learning Network (MHW-PLN).
MHW-PLN Goals
The goals of this MHW-PLN are as follows:
- Gather input and assess the needs of Santa Clara County districts in school-based mental health and wellness.
- Provide an opportunity to share best practices, resources, state policies, strategies and funding opportunities to meet the needs of school districts wishing to establish school-based mental health and wellness programs.
- Provide a forum with opportunities to hear from experts in the field: medical billing, youth health & wellness, LCAP development and behavioral health.
We invite
administrators and wellness team leaders from all Santa Clara County Office of Education districts and other county of education offices as well as grantees to join the MHW-PLN to learn, network, and share the best practice with colleagues.
