Accounting Services oversees the internal financial operation of programs and services operated by the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE). Accounting Services coordinates and assists SCCOE program managers in developing and implementing program finances, which include monitoring of office compliance with SCCOE policies and administrative regulations, education codes, and the requirements of state and federal agencies. Accounting Services is also responsible for the receipt of cash and checks, deposits, payments to vendors, reimbursements to individuals, 1099s, reconciliations, cash projections, financial reporting, fiscal oversight, audit compliance, as well as establishing and implementing internal control procedures, and completing the year-end closing and audit report.
