The
State and Regional Projects Department provides local, regional, and statewide leadership to build capacity for County Offices of Education, districts, and charter schools with a focus on continuous improvement on priority areas identified by the state leading to positive outcomes for students.
Anchoring on inclusive, innovative, equitable approaches to:
- Build the capacity of County Offices of Education in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties to support the continuous improvement of student performance within the state priorities across student groups
- Provide Tier 2 targeted intervention on inclusion for students with disabilities for districts
- Serve as a facilitator, resource connector, and capacity builder for County Offices of Education and California’s Statewide System of Support partners
How We Do Our Work
- Curate, develop, and disseminate resources related to Differentiated Assistance and inclusive practices
- Build partnerships, leveraging partner resources and expertise with California Department of Education (CDE), California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE), and other Statewide System of Support providers
- Provide professional learning, technical assistance, coaching, and networking opportunities
