Alpha Public Schools is a network of public charter schools that aims to put students on the path to college success – and keep them there. All Alpha students will develop not only the knowledge, but also the skills and character traits they will need to succeed in college and career. Founded in 2010, Alpha was created in response to overwhelming community and parent demand in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alpha: José Hernández aims to develop students into lifelong learners who will enter high school with the academic skills, strength of character, and passion for learning to succeed in and graduate from college.
