SCCOE employees with 10 years or more of service are eligible to have a percentage of their medical premium paid by the office. The percentage is based on collective bargaining agreements. Please select your collective bargaining agreement below to see the percentage break downs.
When you turn 65 years old and become eligible for Medicare, process of “Retiring after 65" is followed.
2024-25 Retiree Medical Plan Rates
| Retirees that are 65+ are not eligible to receive paid medical benefits through SCCOE. Medicare enrollment is required. In addition to enrolling in Medicare, retirees have an option to purchase a Supplemental plan through SCCOE. Copies of Medicare card Part A & B are required to enroll. The Supplemental plans are administered directly through our medical administrator SISC.

As a retiree you may make changes to your health plans during the annual Open Enrollment period which is held in August with a plan effective date of October 1st every year.
Dental and Vision Plans:
