When you turn 65 years old and become eligible for Medicare, process of “Retiring after 65" is followed.
Retiree Medical Plan Rates
Retirees that are 65+ are not eligible to receive paid medical benefits through SCCOE. Medicare enrollment is required. In addition to enrolling in Medicare, retirees have an option to purchase a Supplemental plan through SCCOE. Copies of Medicare card Part A & B are required to enroll. The Supplemental plans are administered directly through our medical administrator SISC.

As a retiree you may make changes to your health plans during the annual Open Enrollment period which is held in August with a plan effective date of October 1st every year.
COBRA Dental and Vision is offered to all retirees at their own expense for 18 months. Click on the follow link to
