Safety Net Shelter- Safety Net Shelter provides short-term shelter for homeless and runaway youth ages 12-18. Through intensive individual group and family counseling the shelter's program strives to reunite families whenever possible, prevent future problems and stabilize the lives of young people to kep them safe. The shelter operates 24/7 with staff onsite to serve youth.

PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) - For the 9 out of 10 LGBTQ students who experience some form of mistreatment in school, education can be a frightening experience. It’s incumbent upon parents, families, friends, and allies to make schools safer for ALL students. PFLAG chapters work directly with schools and stakeholders in their communities, providing support, resources, training, creative programs, and even model policy to create an environment of respect. Our umbrella program to support their efforts, work with our national partners and raise visibility of the issues facing LGBTQ youth in learning environments is our Cultivating Respect: Safe Schools for All program, with its supporting publication. Our advocacy work at the federal, state and local levels are an integral part as well. All of this work is designed to reinforce and support the work done by our local chapters to ensure that we all create and support learning environments that help all students find educational success.

Bay Area Legal Aid- Provides low-income clients with free civil legal assistance, including legal advice and counsel, effective referrals, and legal representation. Serves the following counties:

Katherine & George Alexander Community Law Center (SCU)- Provides Pro Bono Advice and Representation; Workers’ Rights, Consumer Rights, and Immigration Rights.

Law Foundation of Silicon Valley (LACY)- Provides free and confidential legal assistance to children and youth in juvenile dependency, family law, probate guardianship, education matters, and numerous other practice areas; advocacy to improve court and community systems designed to protect and promote child welfare; and workshops to educate youth, parents, caregivers and members of the community about issues impacting child welfare and legal rights.

Medi-Cal- Under the guidance of the California Department of Health Care Services, the Medi-Cal program aims to provide health care services to about 13 million Medi-Cal beneficiaries. The Medi-Cal program adjudicates both Medi-Cal and associated health care program fee-for-service claims. This website provides important information for all Medi-Cal providers, submitters and others on how to access fee-for-service billing, transaction and support services.

Healthier Kids Foundation - The YWCA Support Services helps residents of Silicon Valley to minimize the traumatic aftermath of sexual assault and to promote safety, mobility, and freedom from abuse for all people. Services include: 24-hour crisis line for survivors, family members, and friends; Accompaniment of survivor to hospital and through the reporting and judicial process; Child abuse and assault prevention programs for children, teens, and the general community; Peer support groups for rape and childhood sexual abuse survivors; Free confidential crisis counseling.
