Parent | Guardian Expectations
We strongly believe that parent, family, and community engagement are essential elements to the child's development and emotional well-being. We continue an ongoing focus on the implementation of the Parent, Family & Community Engagement (PFCE) Framework, which includes training for Family Advocates, teaching and administrative staff.
Our ELS programs provide:
- A nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack each school day
- Developmental screening and assessments
- Vision and hearing screening
- Referrals for health, dental, and follow-up care
- Support for children with special needs
- Parent education
Each parent | guardian is provided with a copy of the he Parent Admission Agreement
and asked to review and sign it. The agreement asks parents to make commitments, give permission for their child's participation, and acknowledge other rights and responsibilities as parents.
Parent | Guardian engagement provides our program with strong ties essential to our communities, classrooms and families. To qualify for our services your child must be age eligible and your family must either be income
or categorically eligible.
