The Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) invites
all licensed contractors to be included on the SCCOE’s List of Qualified Contractors for informal bids for all trades on construction projects between $60,000 and $200,000, for the 2025 calendar year. All contractors on the list will be notified via email as projects become available.

Contractor Registration Application below to register to be added to the List of Qualified Contractors to be Notified of projects for your license type for the 2025 calendar year. According to Labor Code Sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors wishing to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor’s and subcontractors’ current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project.
The SCCOE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all informal bids, waive any non-material irregularities, and be the sole judge of the merit and responsibility of participating contractors.

The Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) adopted a process for prequalifying contractors and subcontractors consistent with the applicable provisions of the Public Contract Code Section which requires the SCCOE to requalify
General contractors,
Mechanical,
Electrical, and
Plumbing subcontractors who qualify under these Contractors State Licensing Board Classifications:
A, B, C4, C7, C10, C16, C20, C34, C36, C38, C42, C43, and C46, for:
- public projects using state bond funds
and involving a project expenditure of $1 million or more,
- lease-leaseback project regardless of the funding source and project expenditure.
