The Public Affairs Department leads strategic communications that inform, engage, and celebrate our students and education community.Public Affairs builds relationships with internal and external partners through multiple strategies including government and legislative relations, issue management, corporate and social responsibility, strategic communications, community engagement, and partnerships.
Creative Services
The Graphic Design team collaborates with departments to produce compelling visual designs to communicate messages clearly across print and digital platforms. The Digital Media team delivers professional video and audio production to support storytelling, outreach, and events. From concept to completion, they ensure each piece is visually cohesive, professional, and aligns with SCCOE's branding, messaging, and mission.
The Language Services team provides translation and interpretation support to facilitate communication within the diverse community of Santa Clara County, California. The team of highly skilled provide specialized, education-focused language support in Spanish, Vietnamese, and English.
From simple black-and-white copies and stationery to elaborate colorful banners and specially bound reports, Print Services does it all – on time, on budget, and with high-quality results delivered through exceptional personal care and attention.
Publicity & Media
Publicity and Media team informs educators, parents, community and business leaders, and the media about the SCCOE and its programs, initiatives, and achievements. News and information are disseminated to these audiences through various methods, including print publications, news releases, digital web and social media communications, multimedia presentations, and more. The team is also involved with coordinating various events throughout the school year to celebrate educators in Santa Clara County, like the annual Teacher Recognition Celebration.
