On September 13, 2023, a press conference was held by Supervisor Ellenberg regarding Santa Clara County's $15 million childcare infrastructure/apprenticeship investments. Dr. Mary Ann Dewan, Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools, along with several other speakers expressed the importance of the Childcare Resource & Referral Program (R&R), sharing information about the department programs, including R&R, CPIN, LPC, and Quality Matters.
