Local school communicators throughout Santa Clara County received multiple awards from CalSPRA for excellent work in communications. The awards highlight efforts to engage school communities in programs and initiatives that benefit students.

They show the meaningful impact we make for students when we invest in education and communities,” said Dr. Mary Ann Dewan, County Superintendent of Schools. “I am so appreciative of their work and delighted to see them recognized. “It is extremely exciting to honor Santa Clara County districts and the county office of education with these awards,” said CalSPRA President Jessica Hull. “CalSPRA members across California help lead our school communities through a variety of challenges, providing effective communication in the face of uncertainty and polarization. Now, more than ever, successful communication is at the heart of public education. This award-winning example is just one way school communicators provide excellent communication work every day.”
