COVID-19 Dashboard 2020-2021
Santa Clara County Office of Education is committed to providing timely information regarding COVID-19 cases at our sites, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff. The COVID-19 Dashboard represents the number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases among in-person SCCOE students and staff. “In-person” indicates that an individual has attended school or work in-person within their exposure date range, which is 48 hours before symptoms are evident or from the date of the collection of a positive COVID case. It should be noted that this data does not denote the location where transmission occurred. The purpose is solely to inform staff that may be exposed, so the risk of transmission can be reduced. The Santa Clara Public Health Department will conduct contact tracing to notify impacted staff and families that are exposed and need to quarantine.
The Dashboard will be updated weekly. In accordance with AB 685 and Cal/OSHA emergency temporary standards that were approved by the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) and became effective January 1, in the event of a positive case, persons considered "Close Contacts" (as defined by the California Department of Public Health)
are individually notified via phone call, and/or email.
