SAN JOSE, CA - On Saturday, February 24, students from throughout the county met to participate in the National History Day competition at Santa Clara County Office of Education.
National History Day is an academic enrichment program for students in grades 4-12. Students select topics connected to an annual theme and complete in-depth research on the topic. This year, the theme is "Conflict & Compromise in History" which requires students to explore history through multiple perspectives.
Students present their conclusions by creating museum-style exhibits, media documentaries, research papers, interactive websites, and dramatic performances.
