SAN JOSE, CA – Superintendents, district office administrators, site administrators, support staff, teachers, parents, board members, and community organizations from across Northern California will come together for a symposium to create and promote positive school cultures.
The symposium will feature speakers from around the region presenting on a variety of topics. Several staff members from the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) will present topics including the statewide scale-up in education of the Multi-tiered Systems of Supports Framework, School Safety Planning, an overview of the research supporting Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and the goals and vision for a countywide memorandum of understanding on school policing.
