Join us for the SCCOE’s 8th Step into Teaching: Opportunities in Silicon Valley Public Schools Event to help you learn and prepare for the joys of a teaching career.
Step into Teaching: Opportunities in Silicon Valley Public Schools will help you learn about and prepare for a teaching career. This event will help you learn what is required to become a teacher, how to navigate the credentialing process, supply information about compensation, retirement, and financial aid. You will have the opportunity to interact with classroom educators and experts about the rewards and challenges of a career in the classroom.
Representatives from Santa Clara University, San Jose State University, National University, University of Phoenix, UC Santa Cruz, University of San Francisco, CalState TEACH, Grand Canyon University and Santa Clara County Office of Education’s EPIC program will be available to answer questions and provide valuable expertise and information to you. We will also have our credentialing department and financial aid specialists available to answer your individual questions and offer you guidance.
