Building meaningful arts education in Santa Clara County​​​

¡Viva el mariachi! Showcase 

Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.​

The Santa Clara County Office of Education sponsored a showcase of youth mariachi and folklórico groups from Luther Burbank School, Rosemary Elementary, Bachrodt Elementary, Mintie White Elementary School, Lincoln High School, Mt. Pleasant High School, Overfelt High School, DCP El Primero High School, Los Mestizos de San Jose, and San Jose State University. The special guest from Las Vegas was Mariachi Los Gavilanes from Monaco Middle School. The concert took place at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Mexican Heritage Plaza Theater.
