SAN JOSE, CA - As of July 1, 2020 the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) will be serving the county as the Child Care Resource and Referral (R&R) agency. The awarding of the contract is the result of a Request for Application (RFA) process with the California Department of Education (CDE).
“It is an honor for the SCCOE to be selected as the county Resource & Referral provider”, said Dr. Mary Ann Dewan, Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools. “We are looking forward to delivering these critical services to the children and families of Santa Clara County and take our responsibility seriously.”
As the resource and referral agency, it is SCCOE’s goal to ensure that every family in Santa Clara County has access to the information required to access high-quality early care and education (ECE), as well as provide the full variety of ECE providers within the county with access to a system that supports both their programmatic and financial success. SCCOE remains deeply committed to its core values of equity, diversity, inclusion and partnership and these values are driving the construction and sustainability of the R&R program.
