SAN JOSE, CA – Friday, over 700 athletes from the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) Special Education programs will join student athletes from public and private schools across the Bay Area at West Valley College to compete in Kiwanis Special Games XXXIX.
The Special Games is an all-inclusive event, allowing students of all abilities to compete at his or her own pace. The athletic competition will consist of 18 athletic events covering a wide range of skill levels, including an obstacle course, 10-100 yard dashes, and Frisbee throw.

Admission is free and paid parking is available in the West Valley College lot, though it may become impacted once all participants have arrived. Arrive early for best selection.
DETAILS: The event will begin with a Parade of Athletes at 9:15 a.m., followed by a formal opening ceremony featuring Saratoga Mayor Emily Lo. The athletic competition will run from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. followed by lunch.
