Child Development Permits
1) Application form 41-4 Application
-Page 5 of the application needs to include a wet/original signature
2) Fingerprint for the CTC (41-LS)
-LiveScan locations & instructions
3) Temporary County Certificate (TCC)
-Must have a valid Certificate of Clearance in your CTC account
-Complete Section 1 only of the form
4) Child Development Verification of Employment (If applicable to permit type)
-Must have a wet/original signature
5) Register with the SCCOE Database.
6) Create an Educator Account on the CTC website.
7) Order official transcripts showing coursework that qualifies for the level of permit
-If transcripts are being sent electronically, have them sent from the college/university to: credentialservices@sccoe.org
*The CTC prefers online recommendations for CD permits, however, if you would like to submit a paper application, please include this additional step:
8) $100 Money order or Cashier's check made payable to: CTC
-Personal checks are not accepted
9) Brief cover letter with your information along with stating the level of permit you are applying for.
Once you have completed all the steps, please mail or drop off your application packet.
Our office will send you an email once your application has been submitted. If you have included a TCC, we will mail it to you with the address on file.
