The Santa Clara County Joint Child Care Committee (JCCC) evolved from the Child Care Block Grant Joint Powers Committee, formed in 1991. Membership consists of five active members - two from the County Board of Supervisors, the County Superintendent of Schools, and two from the Local Planning Council, co-chairs of the Council.
The purpose of the Joint Child Care Committee / JCCC is to oversee and ensure that the Local Early Education Planning Council (LPC) fulfills its stated mission and goals.
The JCCC meets on a Bi-Annual basis or as needed. The meetings are open to the public and conducted as mandated under the Ralph M. Brown Act. View the
