SAN JOSE, CA – At the October 2, 2024 Santa Clara County Board of Education meeting, the Board of Education voted to terminate without cause the Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Mary Ann Dewan.
“It is a complete honor and privilege to serve Santa Clara County, its schools, community, staff and students,” stated Dr. Dewan. “I have dedicated my life to the service of our community and hold the work of the County Office of Education in high esteem. I am incredibly proud of all we do together to advance equity, inclusion, diversity and partnership.”
