SRTAC is excited to introduce
Leveraging LCAP Funding: Insights and Best Practices for Sustainable Residency Programs—a new resource for districts looking to strengthen and sustain their teacher residency programs.
This resource highlights how three California school districts—Bakersfield City School District,
San Juan Unified School District, and
Victor Elementary School District—are strategically integrating teacher residency programs into their Local Control and Accountability Plans (LCAP) for long-term impact. It offers practical recommendations and insights to help other districts explore local funding opportunities to recruit and retain qualified teachers.
Whether you're just getting started or looking to enhance an existing residency program, this resource provides valuable guidance. Visit the SRTAC Resources page to explore this and other helpful tools designed to support strong, sustainable residency programs!
