Family & Community Partnerships
We believe families are central to a child's development. Our program builds strong partnerships, encouraging parents to contribute to school operations and student academic growth.
Family Partnership Agreements: Our program supports families through Family Partnership Agreements, helping parents set and reach goals for personal development and child readiness for school.
Accessing Community Resources: We connect families with community resources and services through partnerships and a referral system, including support for emergencies.
Education for Children with IEPs: Children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are fully included and supported. Teachers work with specialists to integrate IEP goals, and families are encouraged to share IEP information and meeting schedules.
Parent Education & Involvement: We offer parent education sessions on topics such as nutrition, family literacy, and child development. All parents are members of Local Parent Committees, encouraged to attend monthly meetings to elect representatives, support children, help shape program quality, and build community. Parent Bulletin Boards provide program and community information.
