Discovery Falcon Charter School (Falcon) is a developmental, parent participation school open to all students. The instructional program is designed so that teachers work together to promote a high level of academic and behavioral success for all students. Students from within the District have preference in admission to Falcon. About Opportunity Youth Academy The Opportunity Youth Academy (OYA) offers students a blended program of teacher-directed instruction and online credit accrual and recovery options. The individualized support of teachers, counselors, navigators, liaisons and access to the services of SCCOE partners from community-based organizations is the hallmark of this unique program. The focus is ensuring that students leave the program with a high school diploma, and a path to postgraduation college or career. The classes students complete satisfy admission requirements for California public universities and military service.
