Federal share (50%) costs for administering
the Medi-Cal Program. Activities include: outreach & Referral, facilitating the Medi-Cal application, arranging for non-
emergency/non-medical transportation, program planning
And policy development, and Medi-Cal Administrative

MCP (Managed Care Plans)- A health care delivery system that provides services within a defined network of health care providers who are given the responsibility to manage & provide quality, cost-effective health care. MCPs, which may include but are not limited to Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), typically receive a prepaid rate for each member enrolled in the plan.
