The Educational Services Branch (ESB) provides leadership and support to school districts through professional development, curriculum/instruction development, assessment and accountability, and district/school improvement services. ESB conducts seminars and workshops for K-12 teachers and administrators, and supports the development and integration of career technical education skills.
ASAPconnect provides professional development to out-of-school-time trainers, mentors, coaches and consultants. ASAPconnect links after school programs with assistance providers to ensure high quality services to needy youth.
Assessment and Accountability coordinates and implements California's statewide testing programs, and guides the use of achievement data to improve schools and academic achievement.
Curriculum & Instruction provides high-quality professional development services to improve teaching and learning in all content areas.
The Learning Multimedia Center serves educators, students, parents and community members throughout Santa Clara County.
State & Federal Programs provides technical support to schools and districts on state and federal categorically funded programs. Our support includes training and assistance with LCAP and LCAP Addendum, Title I and Title III compliance, Federal Program Monitoring (FPM), DELAC and SSC training, development of SPSA and Differentiated Assistance.
The SCCOE Credentialing Programs offers credential programs through Education Preparation for Inclusive Classrooms (EPIC) and Leaders in Educational Administration Program (LEAP) approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). EPIC is an accredited program in Special Education and LEAP prepares certificated staff for position as educational administrators.
