​​The 2026 Young Artist Showcase is open to public school students in grades Pre-kindergarten through 12th in Santa Clara County. Adjudicators will determine which student artwork is accepted into the permanent exhibit of student artwork located within the SCCOE campuses and showcased at the virtual Young Artist Showcase Celebration on May 14, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. All artwork will be submitted digitally.​

“My Superpower” invites artists across all disciplines to explore and express the inner forces that define them. Whether it’s the courage to speak out, the power of imagination, or the strength to overcome, this theme celebrates the diverse ways we channel our creativity into something powerful.
  • Musicians might compose or perform pieces that reflect personal triumph or emotional depth.
  • Dancers can embody strength, transformation, or identity through movement.
  • Theatre artists can tell stories of hidden powers, resilience, or self-discovery.
  • Visual artists can illustrate symbolic or literal interpretations of power and uniqueness.
  • Media artists can craft digital narratives, animations, or films that bring their superpowers to life.
This is your moment to shine and turn your superpower into your art.

The Santa Clara County Office of Education announces the 2023 Young Artist Showcase. This showcase is open to public school students, grades Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, in Santa Clara County. Some students will have their artwork accepted into the permanent exhibit of student artwork located within the SCCOE campuses as well as showcased at the virtual Young Artist Showcase Celebration on May 9, 2023, celebrating Arts Education Month in California.​​

Santa Clara County Office of Education anuncia la exposición de arte 2023 de jóvenes artistas. El concurso está disponible para los alumnos de las escuelas públicas del Condado de Santa Clara, desde el grado prekínder hasta el 12.  Se aceptarán las obras de arte de algunos estudiantes para ser incluidas en la exhibición permanente de obras de arte estudiantil ubicada en las instalaciones de SCCOE, y también se exhibirán en la versión virtual de este mismo concurso el 9 de mayo de 2023, con motivo de la celebración en California del Mes de la Educación en Artes.

Phòng Giáo dục Hạt Santa Clara công bố Buổi giới thiệu Nghệ sĩ Trẻ tuổi Năm 2023. Buổi giới thiệu này là dành cho học sinh trường công lập, từ Mầm non đến lớp 12, ở Hạt Santa Clara. Tác phẩm nghệ thuật của một số học sinh sẽ được đưa vào nơi triển lãm tác phẩm nghệ thuật của học sinh từ các trường học SCCOE và được trưng bày tại Lễ Giới thiệu Nghệ sĩ Trẻ tuổi trên mạng vào ngày 23 tháng 3 năm 2023 để kỷ niệm Tháng Giáo dục Nghệ thuật ở California. ​

Theme - Hope in a New Era

This year’s artwork theme, ‘Hope in a New Era’, encourages youth to reimagine, through the arts and creativity, a new era of creative freedom and expression.   This new space in time can involve a new way of thinking, learning, and interacting with new possibilities and new ways or reinforce meaningful ways to engage with friends, family, work, school, community spaces, and our natural environments.  

Tema: Esperanza en una nueva era

El tema de este año para las obras de arte, 'Esperanza en una nueva era', anima a los jóvenes a reimaginar, a través de las artes y la creatividad, una nueva era de libertad y expresión creativa.   Este nuevo espacio en el tiempo puede implicar una nueva forma de pensar, aprender e interactuar, con nuevas posibilidades y nuevas formas o reforzar maneras significativas y valiosas de involucrarse con los amigos, la familia, el trabajo, la escuela, los espacios en comunidad, y nuestros ambientes naturales.  

Chủ đề - Hy vọng trong Kỷ nguyên mới

Chủ đề tác phẩm nghệ thuật năm nay, ‘Hy vọng trong Kỷ nguyên mới’, khuyến khích giới trẻ hình dung lại, thông qua nghệ thuật và trí sáng tạo, một kỷ nguyên mới của sự tự do và biểu hiện trí sáng tạo. Không gian mới này có thể bao gồm cách suy nghĩ, học tập và tương tác mới với những khả năng mới và những kiểu mới hoặc củng cố những cách có ý nghĩa để tham gia với bạn bè, gia đình, sở làm việc, trường học, không gian cộng đồng và môi trường tự nhiên của chúng ta.

Theme - The Arts are culture!​

​ This year’s artwork theme, ‘The Arts are culture!’, encourages youth to imagine, through the arts and creativity, a place of belonging and a valuing of diversity through cultural celebration and creative expression.   Understanding, belonging, and empathy are important to thriving in a diverse, contemporary world. Artistic expression is a means for expressing ourselves, our values, and that expression contributes to the mosaic that is the rich ecosystem of Santa Clara County schools.​
