Walden West HomeSummer Programs Day Camp

Day Camp for 2nd-6th Grade (7-12 year olds)

NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:
On-line Day Camp Registration starts Friday, February 29, at 7:30 a. m.

REGISTRATION UPDATES

Over the summer a parent committee met and decided during the first week of registration to limit each Day-Camper’s participation to one week of camp (2nd-6th grade). While you may register for only one day camp session, you can place yourself on wait lists of session’s that are full.

Beginning March 10 at 7:30 a.m., you will have the opportunity to register your child for additional weeks, based on availability.

LIT (13-14 years) is limited to one week. Wild Things (k-1st grade) is not limited to one week, but because of the nature of the camp we recommend a limit of two.

Kermit Knew it Ain’t Easy Being Green…During the payment process, you will have the opportunity to help all students in Santa Clara County by donating to the Walden West Foundation’s campaign to fund the very green (not just the color) Science Learning Center Lab. You’ll be amazed at the new lodge. The Science lab will be just as impressive!

HOW TO REGISTER

This year Walden West is continuing with on-line registration. Beginning Feb. 21, you can create a secure family profile to allow for faster registration on Feb. 29. Then, when registering your children on Feb. 29, just select the week you would like for each child. Sessions fill extremely quickly.

In the past, some of you registered as a group, with one person registering for the entire group. We ask that each family register on their own because we need correct email, address, and phone numbers for each family in order to communicate with you.

You will not be able to pay during registration Feb. 29, and must return to our website to complete payment for each week of camp by March 4 or you will be taken off the roster. Beginning March 1, payment must be made at the time of registration.

Once enrolled, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. An additional confirmation will be sent after payment has been made and registration is complete. At that time you will also be asked to download a health form for each child and a camp information sheet.

Starting March 10 at 7:30, based on availability, we will accept computer registration for additional sessions as well as walk-in, faxed, and mailed registrations.
