H1N1 Education Campaign Announcement (July 22, 2009)

H1N1 (also referred to as swine flu) is a respiratory disease caused by type A influenza viruses. Swine flu has been reported to spread from person-to-person, and numerous cases have recently been reported in the United States and across the world. The symptoms of swine flu include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.

If you have a fever of 100°F or higher and one of the symptoms listed above, call your doctor or medical provider. If you are sick, stay home from work or school. It is important to limit contact with other people, so you don't spread germs to others.
