Leading Edge: Online Teacher Certification
Leading Edge: Online Teacher Certification
Launched in 2011, the Leading Edge Online Teacher certification program will guide educators through a curriculum based on the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) National Standards for Online Teaching. Upon successful completion, the certification will give schools, districts, and other prospective employers assurance that Leading Edge Certified Online Teachers have the skills to effectively facilitate online courses.
This certification program is intended for classroom teachers and will provide them with the pedagogy of effective online instruction. Participants will develop strategies for enhancing the learning opportunities for all students enrolled in their online and blended learning classes.
This certification program is not a Learning Management training course. Please contact Burt Lo, burt_lo@sccoe.org or (408) 453-4272, for more information about Moodle training.
