ROP-South provides quality career preparation and skill training for adults, out-of-school youth, and high school students who are 16 years of age or older. (Daytime programs located on high school campuses will enroll adults on a space available basis.)
ROP-South courses provide students with the skills they need to compete in today's technical job market. Those skills enable students to acquire jobs, advance in their fields, and/or pursue higher levels of training in their chosen occupation.
ROP instructors have many business and industry contacts. Paid and unpaid internships are offered in many fields in local business and industry locations. Other services include career advising, job seeking assistance, and special services for students with disabilities.
