MEMBERSHIP
LPC members must either live or work in Santa Clara County. The membership is
reflective of the demographics of Santa Clara County. It consists of six members
(each category is 20% of membership) from each of the following categories:
A parent or individual who has used child care services within the last 36
months.
Child Care Providers
An individual/agency currently providing child care services.
Public Agency Representatives
A person who represents a local governmental agency.
Community Representatives
A person who represents an agency or business that provides private funding
for child care services, or who advocates for child care services through
participation in civic or community-based organizations, but is not a provider.
Public Member Category
Appointed from any of the above categories or outside of these categories.
