INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
All state-adopted instructional materials, grades K-8, are on display in the
Learning Resources Display Center (LRDC) and are currently available for schools
to purchase using their instructional materials funds. These materials are for
review only and may not be checked out.
Space can be reserved for groups previewing either adopted materials or those
being considered for adoption. Call (408) 453-6528 to make reservations.
WHAT'S NEW
Thirty-five instructional programs have been submitted for the 2008 Reading/Language Arts adoption
and are available for review in the Learning Resources Display Center. In addition to the basic K-8
reading/language arts programs, materials for increased ELD instruction, primary language, and
intervention are included. The State Board of Education will decide which programs to adopt at the
November 2008 board meeting. The submitted programs are listed here.
