Articles and Databases
The Santa Clara County Office of Education subscribes to the following
databases. Remote access to these resources is available only to County Office
of Education employees from their work or home computers (a password is needed).
If you are a COE employee, contact Library Services at (408) 453-6816 to obtain
your password.
All others are able to search these databases by using the computers in the
Library.
EBSCOHost
Includes:
- Professional Development Collection is designed for professional
educators and provides a collection of articles from nearly 550 education
journals. Many of the articles are available in full-text.
- ERIC (Educational Resource Information Center) contains more than
2,200 research documents, along with citations and abstracts from over 1,000
education-related journals.
- Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts indexes more
than 600 periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings in the
field of library science.

Online - Updated weekly to keep you current, The Foundation Directory
Online provides accurate information on U.S. grantmakers and their grants.
