Head Start Job Opportunities
- The SCCOE Head Start Program is an outstanding employment opportunity for
committed individuals who share the program’s passion for high-quality
services to low-income young children and their families.
- The Head Start program employs teachers, teacher aides, custodial,
maintenance and kitchen staff, clerical and office staff, and service
managers and coordinators.
- Most positions are full-time (8 hrs/day) and range from 10-12 months per
year. All regular, full-time positions offer excellent benefits and
retirement.
- Head Start parents are involved in the hiring process, and all new hires
must be approved by the Head Stat Parent Policy Council (PPC).
