Workforce & Organization Development and is committed to developing a healthier staff. Please check the

SCCOE Staff Wellness EventThe Superhero in YOU Saturday, September 16 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ridder Park
Register for this staff wide event. Get expert advice and simple hacks to maximize your energy and your well-being at the
staff wellness event.
Earn Vitality Points for your participation in various event activities. All activities are complimentary and open to staff whether or not you are participating in Vitality. Some activities are open to dependents and friends. There is something for everyone!
Complimentary activities include: Fitness classes, flu Shots, health screening – Vitality Checks, mini massage, Vitality computer lab, wellness talk, and a wellness vendor fair.
Topics include: Ayurveda, ergonomics, financial wellbeing, mindfulness, naturopathy, nutrition, resilience, and stress relief.

Ridder Park Fitness Center and Group exercise at SCCOE
All regular SCCOE staff are eligible to use the Ridder Park Fitness Facility.
The center is open Monday-Friday from 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends and scheduled holidays. For information regarding rules and access to the SCCOE Ridder Park fitness center,

Meet Us On The Trail!
Everyone is welcome, SCCOE staff, family and friends (dogs can join on some trails) for voluntary non-competitive group activities suitable for all levels. We meet at local parks or trails and earn 250 Vitality Points for participating (need not be a Vitality member to join).
A new hiking group will begin in October. Stay tuned for more details
Vitality Health FYI Webcasts
Each month Vitality hosts a webinar that covers a special health-related topic. The aim is to create a short learning experience and show you how engaging in Vitality can help you live better. Earn 50 Vitality Points when you watch the live webinar session scheduled on the third Thursday of each month from noon to 1:00 p.m. or when you watch a recorded webcast from your Vitality Portal. Earn Vitality Points for yourself and your team as you:
All eligible SCCOE staff, who complete the Vitality Health Review (VHR) and achieve Vitality's Silver Status or above will enjoy a wellness Flexible Spending Account (FSA) reward with contributions from the SCCOE. The FSA is administered by American Fidelity and is determined by your Vitality Status.
Important information and dates for staff who participated in Vitality during the 2016-17 school year, completed the Vitality Health Review and received Vitality Silver Status or above:
There are many ways to access your wellness FSA funds.
Please note: If you received an FSA card last year, you may use the same card again this year. Once you complete and submit the
Rules of Participation form to
Brandi.Narcisse@americanfidelity.com , the card will be loaded with the FSA amount earned.

Vitality Champions promote, support, encourage, and motivate co-workers to achieve personal wellness goals. They help create a healthy work environment through utilization of the employee wellness program and act as liaisons between the SCCOE Wellness Coordinator and staff. Vitality Champions adopt healthy lifestyles and proactively seek ways to educate others at their worksite.

Healthy Steps: SCCOE Walking Group

walks is coming soon.

Staff is encouraged to get the vaccine through their healthcare provider.
